Want to know even more about your mental health to help you understand and deal with it even better? This 3 hour course will provide you with information that will help you better manage your mental health. It’s all the stuff that I wish someone had told me at the beginning of my journey. There’s a little bit of science, a little bit of statistics, a little of what happens in your brain when you are going through times of overwhelm as well as the common symptoms and what is the actual cause behind them. For instance, did you know that the chest pain is actually caused by the tiny muscles in between your ribs tightening up to get ready to fight or flight and protect your major organs?
I’ve done all the research over the years and asked the questions to therapists, psychologists, CBT therapists etc and I’ve searched through the scholar papers. This is all the stuff, put into plain English, that I wish I knew right at the beginning.
To end the session we will talk about some brilliant coping techniques as well as why the 54321 technique is so effective and how to unpick our emotions afterwards so it’s easier to understand our triggers and easier to explain what is happening to others.
I can’t wait to chat with you and tell you all about some of the funny, and not so funny stuff that I’ve done. I promise you a light hearted course about a serious matter that will leave you feeling empowered, understood and capable of managing your mental health moving forwards.
This is a Virtual Group Training session with a maximum of ten people attending. It's held virtually and a free digital certificate is included!
This is a one to one training session, the same as the above, delivered virtually but with extra time to ask any questions and pick my brains to make sure you get the most out of your time.
We can work together to make sure you reach your goal. This is different to counselling in that we work collaboratively to overcome barriers and aim towards a goal. Coaching is about make change happen and part of this process starts with working out what patterns, beliefs or dynamics could be holding you back from reaching your full potential. We don't really focus on the past and traumatic events, this is about where do you want to be and how can we get you there as a team.
